Many w/k contributions are only published in German. For our international readers we provide a brief summary in English:
Birgitta Weimer conducts artistic research analogous to science. In large-scale installations she visualises interdependency networks found in all living systems. She addresses biotechnology as a key technology of our time, as well as the anthropocene – the new earth age made by man – which assign humans the decisive role in shaping their own future and that of the planet Earth.
