Beauty in Everyday Life. On the Theory of Aesthetic Experience

Experiences of beauty in everyday life are often „this looks good“ experiences. They presuppose a simple sensory experience. In experiences of beauty, we intuitively examine the characteristics of sensual experience for coherence with a certain aesthetic norm. Various different aesthetic value systems control our experiences of beauty. A dogmatic, as well as an undogmatic form can represent an aesthetic value system.

Außerdem wirbt er neue Beiträger und Kooperationspartner an und beteiligt sich an der redaktionellen Betreuung der eintreffenden Beiträge. Peter Tepe ist Philosoph, Literaturwissenschaftler und bildender Künstler. Er ist auch nach dem Ende seiner Dienstzeit im Institut für Germanistik und im Institut für Philosophie an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf verankert, betreut noch viele Doktoranden und leitet weiterhin den von ihm 1987 begründeten interdisziplinären Studien- und Forschungsschwerpunkt Mythos, Ideologie & Methoden.
