Experiences of beauty in everyday life are often „this looks good“ experiences. They presuppose a simple sensory experience. In experiences of beauty, we intuitively examine the characteristics of sensual experience for coherence with a certain aesthetic norm. Various different aesthetic value systems control our experiences of beauty. A dogmatic, as well as an undogmatic form can represent an aesthetic value system.
